Job summary

JPMorganChase in Plano, TX, is seeking a Senior Lead Security Engineer to design and deliver scalable, secure full-stack solutions at a global scale. You will work within the Cybersecurity & Technology Controls team in Corporate Technology to advance our digital asset custody platform and promote AI-assisted engineering practices.

You will guide architecture, implement AWS-based services, and ensure secure coding, automated testing, and incident analysis.

Qualifications

5+ years of software engineering experience in a large corporate environment.
Experience designing, developing, testing, and operating software systems.
Solid knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, resiliency, and security best practices.
Experience with cloud technologies (AWS) and modern programming languages.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and engineering automation.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, resilient systems using Java or Python.
Operate microservices with API design and reliability patterns.
Build and maintain AWS integrations (API Gateway, SQS, SNS, S3, RDS).
Create design artifacts and ensure alignment with constraints.
Analyze large data sets to drive improvements and identify patterns.
Contribute to a digital asset custody platform, including signing and policy engines.
Architect and deploy applications on AWS across the software lifecycle.
Promote AI-assisted engineering practices and validate AI outputs for security.
