Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Solution Train Engineer to coordinate multiple ARTs within the SAFe Large Solution level. You will focus on proactive risk mitigation, dependency management, and executive-level conversations to drive maximum value across the value stream.

You will lead strategic planning, mentor RTEs and STEs, and ensure readiness before delivery, while aligning budgets and architecture with business goals in a remote U.S. setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical program mgmt, SDLC ops, or Agile leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred with 8+ years.
• Proven track record coordinating multiple teams/ARTs.
• Exceptional facilitation and executive communication.
• Mastery of Agile at Scale for complex telecom/software portfolio.
• SAFe SPC or RTE/STE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Pre- and Post-PI Planning and Solution Train Syncs; set calendars.
• Coordinate across ARTs and suppliers; align high-impact epics.
• Identify and mitigate cross-ART risks; manage dependencies and capacity.
• Own solution-level metrics; promote CI, automated testing, and DevOps.
• Coordinate continuous release process across the Solution Train.
• Coach RTEs, Product Owners, and STEs; run I&A at the solution level.
• Align budgets with Strategy; work with stakeholders within budgets.
