Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Lead Solution Train Engineer (STE) to orchestrate the Solution Train within the SDLC across multiple Agile Release Trains in a large-scale, AI-ready telecommunications software portfolio. This senior role emphasizes proactive risk management, executive communication, and cross-team alignment to deliver high-value capabilities.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in technical program management, SDLC operations, or Agile leadership.
Experience coordinating multiple teams or ARTs delivering a single complex solution.
Exceptional facilitation and executive communication skills.
Mastery of Agile at Scale concepts across a telecom/network software portfolio.
Certification: SAFe SPC or RTE/STE preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate SAFe Large Solution activities across multiple ARTs and suppliers.
Own annual calendars for iterations and PIs at the large solution level.
Facilitate Pre- and Post-PI Planning and Solution Train Syncs.
Identify and mitigate cross-ART risks and dependencies.
Own solution-level metrics, quality, and DevOps practices.
Mentor RTEs and Product Owners; drive continuous improvement.
