Avoma, an AI-powered meeting assistant and revenue intelligence solution, is seeking a Lead Recruiter in San Jose, CA. You will own end-to-end hiring across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering, partnering with founders and hiring managers to build strong pipelines and close exceptional talent.

This recruiting-first role focuses ~90% on talent acquisition, with additional People Operations support as needed in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on recruiting experience in technology or SaaS.
• Proven track record of full-cycle recruiting across multiple functions.
• Strong sourcing, candidate engagement, and closing capabilities.
• Experience partnering with founders and hiring managers to define profiles and strategies.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Product, Design, and Engineering.
• Proactively source, screen, interview, negotiate offers, and close candidates.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines and candidate outreach that reflects Avoma's mission and culture.
• Develop structured interview processes and hiring scorecards with hiring managers.
• Provide regular updates on hiring progress to founders and stakeholders.
• Support onboarding and basic People Operations activities as needed.
