Job summary

Allegion is seeking a Senior Lead Software Product Data Engineer to own the product data standards across Global Software Solutions. You will translate conceptual models into physical schemas, pipelines, and APIs in collaboration with product engineering teams, while owning the enterprise data catalog and platform standards.

You will work with AI and data analytics teams, ensuring governance, data quality, and compliant data handling across device telemetry and software products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data architecture, data modeling or data engineering, including at least 3-5 years designing a shared or central data platform.
• Proven experience translating conceptual or logical data models into physical data architecture, pipelines, and APIs in partnership with product engineering teams.
• Experience building and maintaining an enterprise data catalog or comparable metadata/governance repository.
• Direct experience unifying data models and pipelines across independently run business units or product lines at enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

• Document how each software application across business units generates, defines, and uses data, building a unified data reality across the organization.
• Roll business-unit SW Application & Platform knowledge up into a single GSS-level standard with clear comparisons of alignment.
• Translate data models into physical schemas, interfaces, pipelines, and APIs embedded in GSS software products.
• Own and maintain the GSS SW product data catalog as the authoritative source of data definitions and standards.
