Job summary

Allegion in Carmel, IN is seeking a Senior Lead Software Product Data Engineer to own the data architecture and platform standards across Global Software Solutions. You will translate complex data models into physical schemas, data interfaces, and pipelines embedded in Allegion's software products, starting with the DB convergence.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data architecture, data modeling or data engineering.
• Experience translating data models into physical data architecture, pipelines and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Document how each software application generates and uses data across business units.
• Consolidate knowledge into a single GSS standard and map alignments across units.
• Translate data models into physical schemas, interfaces, pipelines and APIs embedded in products.
• Own and maintain the GSS data catalog as the authoritative data definitions and standards.
• Design the data lake and telemetry architecture for device data to enable actionable insights.
• Implement onboarding processes to bring new business units onto the shared data model and platform.
• Enforce data standards, governance, and lineage across the organization.
