Job summary

Entergy Port Gibson site seeks an experienced engineer to support design bases, modify baseline designs, and maintain design basis control documents to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.

The role emphasizes design integrity, coordination with operations and maintenance, and participation in outage engineering support teams, with a path across Engineer I–Sr Lead based on experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree or related physical science.
• Experience ranges by engineer level from 0 to 8+ years.
• SRO license or PE license is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains design basis for each site and supports licensing basis.
• Provides cost-effective modification designs to improve plant performance.
• Supports operations, maintenance, engineering and other site organizations.
• Identifies and resolves issues via corrective action and work management processes.
• Develops engineering products in accordance with standards and procedures.
• Acts as design authority for the site and serves on outage engineering support teams.
