Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering.

• 5+ years of applied experience in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one mobile-relevant programming language.
• Strong knowledge of iOS (Swift/Objective-C, UIKit/Cocoa) and/or Android (Java/Kotlin) frameworks.
• Experience with API integration and mobile tooling (Xcode) and auth standards (OAuth/SSO).
• Proven delivery of apps via App Store/enterprise distribution using CI/CD; strong Git/source control and Agile practices.
• Experience leading enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools and setting team expectations for validating AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day support to business partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Design and build secure, production-grade mobile solutions, making key decisions on architecture, functionality, and operations.
• Develop and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
• Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Review, debug, and improve code to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Deliver complex front-end implementations for large-scale mobile apps, including automated testing.
• Partner with UX/design teams to prototype and implement features that enhance user experience.
• Drive reliability, scalability, and delivery excellence by applying Agile practices and supporting SRE practices
• Promote AI-assisted coding practices with measurable validation standards.
