Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive mobile product development for iOS and Android within Commercial & Community Banking. You will be a core technical contributor, delivering secure, scalable mobile solutions and guiding teams on technology choices and best practices.

You will leverage AI-assisted development tools, participate in secure coding and design reviews, and collaborate with UX to build features that improve user experiences while aligning with Agile/Scrum

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to critically evaluate AI outputs for correctness, performance and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure handling, and resiliency expectations.
Proficiency in at least one mobile development language.
Strong knowledge of mobile development frameworks: iOS, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Cocoa, SwiftUI.

Responsibilities

Develop secure, high-quality production code and review peers.
Make decisions impacting product design, functionality, and operations.
Advise peers on adoption of new technologies.
Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding tools to improve quality and speed with peer review.
Develop mobile apps for iOS using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C; Android using Java and Kotlin.
Collaborate with UX designers to prototype and implement new features.
Optimize apps for speed, reliability, and scalability; follow Agile practices (Scrum, CD).
Support SRE practices to ensure performance and reliability.
