Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an iOS Software Engineer Lead to design and deliver trusted, scalable iOS products within Consumer & Community Banking.

You will work on AI-assisted development, accessibility validation, and API mocking infrastructure while guiding teams to ship secure, high-quality code. Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering and 5+ years applied experience.
• Solid coding ability in Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with evaluation of AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure handling of data.
• Foundational software design principles with focus on scalable platform solutions.
• Exposure to XCUITest and Apple iOS testing frameworks.
• Hands-on iOS development experience including debugging in Xcode.
• Openness to learning BDD and Cucumber/Gherkin.
• Analytical mindset and ability to break down complex problems.
• Collaborative yet capable of independent work in a fast-paced, global team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design and development of iOS platform infrastructure, building reusable frameworks and tooling.
• Leverage AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity, with peer review and secure coding standards.
• Apply SDLC tooling knowledge to improve value realized by automation.
• Write clean, production-quality Swift/Objective-C code using Xcode.
• Translate requirements with product owners into executable specifications and documentation.
• Build iOS capabilities for accessibility validation, visual regression, and i18n/l10n validation.
• Develop infrastructure for validating AI-powered features, including ML models and personalization engines.
• Work with API mocking (WireMock) to support development without backend dependencies.
• Guide platform needs with scrum teams and provide technical leadership on iOS infrastructure.
• Collaborate with iOS teams to monitor and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD integration including PR validation and cloud device execution.
