Job summary
A leading engineering services organization is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN. This role requires substantial experience in mechanical design for data center construction and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Successful candidates must be able to obtain a DOE Q clearance and will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting mechanical design for data center construction/renovation or power and cooling projects.
Proficiency in reading and contributing to technical documentation.
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and design principles.
Responsibilities
Provide mechanical engineering support for data center and power infrastructure projects.
Develop and review mechanical design documents, drawings, and specifications.
Support coordination between engineering disciplines and project teams.
Participate in design reviews and assist during construction activities.
