Job summary

A leading engineering services organization is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer in Oak Ridge, TN. This role requires substantial experience in mechanical design for data center construction and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 10 years of relevant experience. Successful candidates must be able to obtain a DOE Q clearance and will collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications. U.S. Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting mechanical design for data center construction/renovation or power and cooling projects.
• Proficiency in reading and contributing to technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering support for data center and power infrastructure projects.
• Develop and review mechanical design documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Support coordination between engineering disciplines and project teams.
