Job summary

Georgia Power is seeking a Manager, Large Load Integration to lead end-to-end integration of large electrical loads, including AI data centers and hyperscale customers. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in the energy sector, utilities, infrastructure, or large scale project delivery.
• 3+ years of people leadership or team management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving senior stakeholders and high-consequence operational, technical, regulatory, customer, or commercial decisions.
• Strong understanding of transmission and distribution systems, grid operations, reliability standards, and operational readiness.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise operating model for large load integration across Georgia Power.
• Lead cross-functional governance so technical, customer, operational, legal, commercial, regulatory, construction, planning, compliance, and operating needs are aligned into one execution path.
• Make strategic recommendations on energization, provisional conditions, mitigation, or escalation due to reliability or commercial risk.
• Resolve cross-functional conflicts when customer timing, system readiness, technical compliance, contractual commitments, affordability objectives, and operational needs are not aligned.
• Develop dashboards and reporting cadences that give senior leadership clear visibility into pipeline status, customer readiness, technical compliance, open risks, escalation needs, and major decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, documentation weaknesses, technical standard gaps, and customer communication needs without compromising reliability.
