Job summary

Amsive is seeking a Large Format Manager – Pre-Press Digital Print in Hobart, IN to lead the Printing Department and oversee Prepress and Large Format operations. You will schedule daily workflows, manage staff, and drive color accuracy and workflow automation.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in print production management, deep knowledge of offset, digital, and large-format printing, and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of print production management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Offset, Digital and Large Format Printing.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance operations with people leadership and quality standards.
• Familiarity with safety rules and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and direct supervision of the Printing Department, including daily scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation
• Oversee all production activities across Prepress and Large Format operations
• Collaborate with production teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
• Establish and improve quality control standards to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
• Ensure equipment is maintained and preventive maintenance schedules are followed
• Lead, coach, and develop production team members through training and performance management
• Coordinate production reporting, data collection, inventory, and documentation
• Uphold strong internal and external customer service standards
