Job summary

Amsive is seeking a Large Format Manager - Pre-Press Digital Print in Hobart, IN. This leadership role oversees end-to-end wide-format production, directs prepress operations, and drives workflow automation/upgrades while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of print production management experience and strong knowledge of offset, digital, and large-format printing, along with team leadership and process optimization skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of print production management experience.
• Extensive knowledge of Offset, Digital and Large Format Printing.
• Strong production workflows, scheduling, and process optimization.
• Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance operational demands with people leadership and quality.
• Ability to read safety/operating manuals and write routine reports.
• Proficiency with large-format pre-press and press activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and direct supervision of the Printing Department, including daily scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Oversee all production activities across Prepress and Large Format operations.
• Collaborate with production teams to streamline workflows, reduce waste, and improve efficiency and throughput.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards for accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
• Promote workplace safety policies and compliance with procedures.
• Lead, coach, and develop production team members through training and performance feedback.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and improvement-driven work environment.
• Coordinate production reporting, data collection, inventory, and documentation.
• Support HR in performance reviews and employee development.
• Communicate with internal/external customers to uphold service standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
