Job summary

Amsive LLC in Hobart, IN is hiring a Large Format Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain oversized digital printing presses such as Durst, Vutek and HP Indigo to produce banners, signs and displays.

You will follow production schedules, adjust color profiles, monitor quality, perform routine maintenance and keep detailed records. Requires at least 2 years of large format or digital printing experience and a high school diploma; starting pay is $22 per hour with OT.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in large format or digital printing.
Experience with running Durst, Vutek, and HP Indigo equipment is highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Large Format Printing substrates and maintenance/operational practices.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating procedures.
High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

Operate large format digital printing presses according to production schedules.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Adjust color profiles, resolutions, and layouts based on job specs.
Set up and configure machines for different substrates and print jobs.
Monitor print quality and make real-time adjustments as needed.
Ensure all materials meet quality standards and specifications before delivery.
Maintain accurate records of production runs and material usage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
