Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• 3–5+ years of experience in print production or large-format printing.
• Strong experience with grand-format and large-format printing workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience supervising production teams.
• Strong customer service and client communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).
• Ability to clearly communicate production processes, job requirements, and technical instructions.
• Strong understanding of print equipment, materials, and production capabilities.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer escalations professionally.

Responsibilities

• Partner with shop leadership to provide operational and administrative support.
• Organize and supervise production workforce during regular and extended shifts.
• Monitor jobs and communicate instructions, proofs, and shipping details to teams.
• Act as client contact for job specs and print requirements.
• Ensure projects meet deadlines and budget/cost guidelines.
• Train staff on procedures, workflows, and equipment usage.
• Oversee maintenance and upgrades of large-format equipment; suggest productivity tech.
• Manage inventory and supplies to support production flow.
• Resolve customer issues and escalations professionally.
• Support multiple departments and step into production roles as needed.
• Perform additional duties to support shop operations.
