Job summary

Citi is looking for a Lead Java Full Stack Developer to design and support modern web applications in a hybrid work environment. This role demands expertise in both frontend (Angular) and backend (Java/Spring Boot) development, focusing on API-first and microservices-based architecture.

The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of experience with solid backend skills, particularly in Java and Spring Boot, and frontend skills in Angular. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is required.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in full-stack web application development.
• Strong backend development experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong front-end development experience with Angular, including TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational data modeling.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and event streaming with Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications across the stack: UI, APIs, and backend services.
• Build scalable, secure microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive user interfaces using Angular.
• Write unit and integration tests; participate in code reviews.
