As a Senior Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Infrastructure Platforms, you exhibit both depth and breadth of knowledge regarding software, applications, and technical processes across multiple disciplines. You also have a specialization in a specific domain within infrastructure engineering to drive programs or initiatives involving multiple technologies and applications.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply deep technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to analyze complex data and systems, anticipate issues, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with other platforms to architect and implement changes needed to resolve issues and modernize organizational technology processes.
• Take responsibility for infrastructure engineering aligned with business requirements.
• Drive results and implement multiple complex programs.
• Lead thought leadership within the product line.
• Ensure work complies with standards, risk, security, and business objectives.
• Consider upstream/downstream system implications and advise on mitigation actions.
• Mentor and advise junior engineers and technologists.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Formal training or certification in Infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Knowledge of infrastructure areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
• Proficiency in infrastructure technologies and programming languages (e.g., scripting, Python).
• Deep technical knowledge across multiple domains.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, with the ability to operate and migrate across public and private clouds.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience managing budgets.
