Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer – Endpoint Security and Zero Trust Implementation for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and security-driven Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in supporting a strategic Zero Trust implementation for one of our enterprise clients. You will play a critical role in configuring, managing, and enforcing security and compliance policies across a hybrid fleet of corporate and BYOD devices, leveraging Microsoft cloud security solutions such as Intune, Entra ID, and Defender for Endpoint.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on technical precision, cross-team collaboration, and solving complex infrastructure challenges in a fast-paced, security-focused environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure engineering experience in an enterprise
  environments.
• Deep experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft
  Defender for Endpoint.
• Strong working knowledge of Conditional Access Policies, compliance baselines
  (STIG/CIS), and enterprise device management.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and experience with automation via Microsoft Graph
  API.
• Practical understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and modern security frameworks
  (NIST, STIG, CIS).
• Familiarity with Windows Autopilot and mobile device onboarding via the Company
  Portal.
• Experience in hybrid work environments and remote endpoint management.
  Ability to troubleshoot device enrollment issues across multiple OS platforms.
• Comfortable operating in Agile/Scrum environments with structured sprint cycles.

Responsibilities:

• Execute hands-on implementation of Microsoft Intune for endpoint enrollment, policy
  enforcement, and configuration management across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android,
  and virtual desktop environments.
• Apply advanced App Protection Policies (APP) and STIG-aligned security baselines to
  Ensure hardened device configurations and data protection.
• Integrate Microsoft Defender for Endpoint for real-time threat monitoring, risk scoring,
  and automatic remediation.
• Define and enforce compliance rules based on device encryption, OS versions, and antivirus
  status, and password policies.
• Work closely with the Solutions Architect to ensure infrastructure configurations align
  With Zero Trust design principles and customer requirements.
• Utilize PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API for scalable deployments and automation of
  policy configurations.
• Provide technical support for policy rollout, including validation, remediation, and
  resolution of deployment issues.
• Collaborate with identity and access management (IAM) resources to enforce
• Conditional Access policies are based on device health, risk signals, and user identity.
• Generate reports and dashboards using Microsoft 365 Security Center to monitor device
  compliance, risk, and enrollment progress

Nice to have:

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102, SC-300, or AZ-500.
• Experience integrating Microsoft Sentinel or other SIEM tools.
• Background in enterprise compliance, vulnerability management, or risk mitigation.
• Previous participation in Zero Trust or endpoint security transformation projects.
