Job summary

WaveStrong is seeking a Sr. Lead Incident Response / Supervisor Level 5 to protect enterprise systems, data, and networks. You will guide cross-functional teams and drive incident response initiatives across the security program.

You will lead investigations, conduct data-driven threat detection work, and coordinate remediation efforts while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with engineering and operations across critical cyber defense operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Cyber Security, IT or related fields.
• 3+ years in IT incident management and remediation planning.
• 3+ years in large-scale cyber security data analytics.
• 3+ years in threat research or data analytics.
• Masters degree in a related field and relevant security certifications (Security+, CISSP, CISA).
• Leads investigations, incident response, and threat detection initiatives.
• Mentors junior team members and coordinates with engineering/operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations and triage of security events across domains.
• Drive data analyses to support security event management and incident resolution.
• Oversee deployment of threat detection capabilities and incident response plans.
• Coordinate containment, protection, and remediation activities as needed.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate across engineering and operations.
