Job summary

The GOR Group, LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead structured cabling and low-voltage construction on a large hyperscale data center project in Rayville, LA. The role requires senior field leadership, safety focus, and coordination with project teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure on schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive supervisory experience in structured cabling/mission-critical construction.
• Experience leading large field teams of 100+ personnel.
• Strong understanding of low-voltage construction and structured cabling systems.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation.
• Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and field crews simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Safety Leadership: enforce safety policies, OSHA requirements, field planning, incident prevention, and investigations.
• Construction Leadership: direct onsite activities from mobilization to project completion; manage schedules and site logistics.
• Technical Leadership: SMEs for structured cabling, fiber, low-voltage systems, OTDR and testing; ensure compliance with standards.
• Team Leadership: supervise 100+ technicians, mentor staff, hire and develop workforce, drive accountability.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: represent on-site; coordinate meetings, site walks, milestone reviews, and issue resolution.
• Quality & Project Delivery: partner with QA/QC; ensure installations meet specs and support turnover and acceptance.
