Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a laboratory science or equivalent
• 4+ years of high complexity testing experience in a clinical lab
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, CAP, CLIA and state regulatory bodies

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with regulations and ensure safe laboratory practices.
• Ensure quality management programs comply with CLIA, CAP, OSHA and state/federal rules.
• Develop day-to-day schedules and assign personnel to tasks.
• Develop and monitor quality control benchmarks to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Review, update and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Facilitate training of staff and competency assessments.
• Lead or support high complexity testing within turnaround times.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and manage multiple projects with timelines.
• Coordinate instrument calibration, maintenance, and repair.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation across projects.
