Job summary

Abbott in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking an Analytical Laboratory Supervisor to lead a team of technicians, oversee daily operations, ensure GMP compliance, and drive test methods and QA improvements within the Nutrition division.

Based in the Casa Grande plant, the role requires a Bachelor's in science/engineering and 3+ years of supervisory experience; 12-hour day shifts 6:00 AM–6:00 PM with every other weekend off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering related field.
• Minimum three years of management and supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/FDA requirements.
• Experience with HPLC and ICP techniques.
• Understanding of laboratory analytical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of laboratory technicians.
• Plan and manage laboratory resources and schedules.
• Coordinate internal and third-party testing to meet timelines.
• Review batch documentation and approve test results in LIMS.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, EHS and quality standards.
• Support QA procedures, SOPs, and method transfers.
• Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Support investigations and CAPAs.
• Collaborate with operations in daily process meetings.
