Cheil North America in Plano, Texas, is seeking an Account Director, Experiential Marketing to lead Samsung’s experiential business. You’ll manage senior client relationships, set strategic direction, and bring together creative, strategy, production, and operations to deliver bold, culturally relevant experiences.

You will guide a client-facing team, align with launch calendars, and bring proactive ideas before requests arrive.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experiential marketing, event production, brand activation, with client-facing leadership.
• Proven experience leading major experiential accounts, including product launches and events.
• Experience leading and developing client-facing teams and direct reports.
• Strong command of budgets, estimates, SOWs, POs, and agency processes.
• Experience developing and presenting client proposals with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with incomplete information.
• Ability to work hybrid in Plano, Texas, with on-site collaboration and travel.

Responsabilités

• Lead client relationships as senior day-to-day contact for accounts.
• Shape work by challenging budget/timing constraints and offering alternatives.
• Plan 3–6 month product launch cycles and cultural moments with proposals.
• Own account financials: estimates, scopes, POs, budgets, margins, fees.
• Align production and operations early to validate feasibility and costs.
• Coordinate across departments with clear ownership and timelines.
• Lead the team; set briefs, budgets, status reporting, and client communication.
