Job summary

This role serves as the senior technical authority throughout the project lifecycle, from proposal development through commissioning, working closely with customers, EPCs, utilities, and internal engineering teams. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in rotating equipment, MV VFDs, and power systems, along with the ability to mentor

Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience in rotating equipment, MV drives, power systems, or grid stability.
• Strong knowledge of motors, generators, synchronous condensers, MV VFDs, and related systems.
• Experience in industrial, utility or EPC project environments.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, specs and documentation.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus; PE license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership during project pursuit, engineering execution, commissioning and customer support.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, utilities, EPCs, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Review technical specifications, assess risks, and develop engineering solutions.
• Support MV VFD, motor, generator, and power system integration activities.
• Lead technical reviews, FATs, and commissioning activities as required.
• Ensure deliverables comply with industry standards and customer requirements.
• Mentor project engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Coordinate and manage external engineering consultants when needed.
• Resolve complex technical issues during project execution and startup.
