Job summary

The Lead Engineer will head a team tackling repair, replacement, maintenance, and new construction of the electric distribution infrastructure. You will perform advanced power systems analysis and design, guiding engineers to meet project goals with minimal supervision.

Lead responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers, presenting concepts to stakeholders, and driving standardization across distribution processes while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited college/university.
• At least 7+ years’ experience in moderately complex engineering duties related to electric power systems, with leadership experience.
• Project management skills are required and knowledge of engineering drawings/ CAD is needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering analysis, design and calculations using standard methodologies.
• Develop design concepts and action plans to resolve issues or improve processes of the distribution system.
• Mentor engineers and lead project teams to meet goals and deliverables.
• Review and interpret drawings and apply industry standards and codes.
