Job summary
POWERX is seeking a Distribution Engineer III to lead electrical power distribution projects, perform design and cost estimation, and coordinate field inspections for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil or General engineering.
- 3–5 years of progressive engineering experience.
- EIT or PE license preferred.
- Excellent technical skills and familiarity with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, estimate, and coordinate the construction of overhead and underground power distribution systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
- Lead and manage Capital and O&M projects through all phases from concept to closeout.
- Identify and implement innovative engineering solutions to improve system reliability, cost efficiency, and safety.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulations.
- Guide junior engineers and technical staff, and stay current with evolving industry trends.
