Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company seeks a Lead Engineer of AP1000 Module Fabrication to provide fabrication support for structural modules across US and Europe, with oversight of module fabrication activities.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager of Structural Design and Modules, the role requires coordination with Supply Chain, mentoring engineers, and delivering on-time, high-quality deliverables in a hybrid work setup with two on-site days per week at Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural or Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with AP1000 modules fabrication and construction preferred.
• Experience with nuclear quality standards and change control processes preferred.
• Experience managing engineering teams and delivering on time with quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and oversight of AP1000 module fabrication.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to support fabricators.
• Integrate external partners into the Fab Follow Engineering team.
• Drive continuous improvement of products, processes and procedures.
• Mentor engineers and set day-to-day activities for the FFE team.
• Collect and summarize engineering data and trends for leadership.
• Engage with customers, partners, supply chain and senior management.
