Job summary

W-Industries seeks a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to provide technical leadership on capital, maintenance, and turnaround projects in the petrochemical, refining, and oil & gas sectors. You will oversee electrical design, ensure quality and compliance, and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, support projects from concept through construction, and maintain a strong focus on safety, schedule, and budget performance while collaborating with clients.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of electrical engineering experience in petrochemical, refining, LNG or oil & gas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the design and development of electrical systems and components.
• Review and approve electrical drawings, calculations, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to meet project goals.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues.
• Participate in project planning, scheduling, and cost control efforts.
• Support field activities, including installation, commissioning, and inspections.
• Conduct design reviews and risk assessments for electrical systems.
