Job summary

BridgePoint Consulting seeks an Electrical / Electronic Engineer IV to serve as a Senior Lead Engineer and SME at the NSWC Crane Division. You will champion architectural design and lifecycle validation of complex defense electronics across critical mission portfolios, including EW and strategic microelectronics.

You will mentor teams, drive hardware modernization, and interface with senior DoD stakeholders to preserve technological superiority for the warfighter.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; Master's/PhD highly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive engineering experience in military or complex aerospace electronics lifecycles.
• Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance with potential to obtain Top Secret/SCI if mission requires.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and life-cycle validation of defense electronics across EW, microelectronics, and expeditionary systems.
• Drive hardware modernization strategies and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Interface directly with senior DoD stakeholders to ensure technological superiority for warfighters.
• Provide SME leadership as a Senior Lead Engineer at NSWC Crane Division.
