Job summary

BridgePoint Consulting seeks an Electrical / Electronic Engineer IV to serve as a Senior Lead Engineer and SME at the NSWC Crane Division. You will champion architectural design and lifecycle validation of complex defense electronics across critical mission portfolios, including EW and strategic microelectronics.

You will mentor teams, drive hardware modernization, and interface with senior DoD stakeholders to preserve technological superiority for the warfighter.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering; Master's/PhD highly preferred.
• 8–12+ years of progressive engineering experience in military or complex aerospace electronics lifecycles.
• Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance with potential to obtain Top Secret/SCI if mission requires.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and life-cycle validation of defense electronics across EW, microelectronics, and expeditionary systems.

Position Summary: Target Domain:Bachelor's or Higher(ABET-Accredited)The Electrical / Electronic Engineer IV serves as a Senior Lead Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (SME) atthe Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division. Requirements

Required Qualifications & Core Competencies: Education &Certification - Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, oran equivalent engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited academicinstitution. Master's or Ph.D. highly preferred.Professional Experience - Minimum of 8 to 12+ years of progressive engineering experience demonstratingstrong technical stewardship over military or complex commercial aerospaceelectronics life-cycles.Security Clearance - Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance, with the clear eligibility andframework tracking to obtain and maintain a Top Secret / SCI clearance pathwayif demanded by mission profile.Software & Design Tools - Advanced mastery of engineering infrastructure design platforms, includingSPICE variants, Altium Designer, Ansys HFSS, MATLAB, Simulink, Xilinx Vivado,or key sight ADS.Defense Standards - Deep working knowledge of regulatory military compliance pipelines:MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810, IPC standards, and secure microelectronicspedigree standards
