Job summary

BridgePoint Consulting seeks a Computer Engineer III to join our engineering team supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division in Crane, IN. In this mid-to-senior role you will lead the design, development, integration, and testing of complex embedded systems, digital hardware, and software architectures.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital engineering, HIL simulations, MBSE and full lifecycle deployment within defense programs, with ability to mentor engineers

Qualifications

• Design and integrate embedded systems with SBCs, MCUs and RTOS.
• Develop and validate HIL simulation testbenches for real-time performance.
• Lead digital engineering efforts, MBSE, and design reviews.
• Proficient in C/C++ and scripting for automation.
• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of embedded systems and RTOS.
• Architect HIL testbenches for validation before deployment.
• Prototype with VHDL/Verilog and oversee PCB layouts.
• Mentor junior engineers and brief government stakeholders on progress.
