Job summary

Truelogic is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to architect scalable data infrastructure powering real-time insights and autonomous AI applications. You will transform static data lakes and warehouses into active, low-latency backends and drive engineering best practices in a 50/50 Tech and Creative environment.

You will work cross-functionally with ML engineers, product teams, and agency stakeholders to translate needs into production-grade data APIs and schemas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering designing, building, and scaling data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Beyond data migrations: activating data infra for real-time downstream apps.
• Agentic & real-time AI backends: experience with vector DBs or RAG at scale.
• Deep cloud expertise across AWS, GCP or Azure and modern data stacks.
• Core stack: Python and SQL for data processing and real-time pipelines.
• AI workflow mastery: AI-assisted development tools and automated workflows.
• Leadership & communication: mentoring engineers in a hybrid Tech/Creative culture.
• Located in Latin America, fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale high-throughput, low-latency data infrastructure connecting cloud data lakes to AI backends.
• Transform latent data stores into active context layers, vector engines and memory systems.
• Build real-time ingestion, event-driven pipelines and retrieval systems for live AI apps.
• Establish data architecture standards, CI/CD, documentation and data quality practices.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with ML engineers, product teams and agency stakeholders.
• Leverage AI-powered coding and modern automated workflows to accelerate development.
