Job summary

Truelogic is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to architect and scale scalable data infrastructure powering real-time insights and AI-driven applications. You will transform latent data stores into active, low-latency backends, enabling agentic AI workflows and autonomous systems.

You will lead data architecture, establish standards, and mentor engineers while collaborating across a 50/50 Tech/Creative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Data Engineering: experience designing, building, and scaling data pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Activating data infrastructure for real-time, AI-enabled applications rather than only batch warehousing.
• Experience building real-time backends, vector databases, or RAG at scale.
• Deep Cloud expertise across AWS, GCP, and Azure; strong data stack experience.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing and pipelines.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and automated workflows.
• Strong leadership and communication skills for a hybrid Tech/Creative culture.
• Located in Latin America and fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale high-throughput, low-latency data infrastructure connecting data lakes/warehouses to AI backends.
• Transform static data stores into active context layers and memory systems for autonomous AI agents.
• Build real-time ingestion, streaming, and retrieval pipelines to support live AI applications.
• Set data architecture standards, CI/CD, documentation, and data quality practices while mentoring engineers.
• Collaborate with ML engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver production-grade data APIs.
• Leverage AI-powered coding and automated workflows to accelerate development.
