Job summary

East Texas Cooling Systems is hiring a Commercial Refrigeration Technician to install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems across supermarkets, service stations, and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, EPA 608 certification, and strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot refrigeration cycles. You will work on-site with clients and adhere to safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a commercial refrigeration technician.
• EPA Section 608 certification (Type II or Universal preferred).
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and parallel rack systems.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must pass a drug screen.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
• Recover and reclaim refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections and adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and service logs.
• Provide excellent customer service while on-site at clients' facilities.
