Job summary

East Texas Cooling Systems is seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial refrigeration systems across supermarkets, service stations, and industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience, EPA 608 certification, and a solid understanding of refrigeration cycles and parallel rack systems. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a commercial refrigeration technician.
• EPA Section 608 Technician Certification (Type II or Universal preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to pass a drug screen.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration cycles and parallel rack systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical failures in HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Inspect system components, including compressors, condensers, evaporators, and expansion valves.
• Recover and reclaim refrigerant in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Conduct safety inspections and adhere to safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, replacements, and service logs.
• Provide excellent customer service while on-site at clients' facilities.
