Job summary

East Texas Cooling Systems in Texas is seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration Installer to join our team. You will install commercial refrigeration systems, read blueprints, and ensure proper operation with safety standards.

The role requires diagnosing systems, performing tests, and occasional out-of-town travel weekly. Valid EPA 608 certification (Type II or Universal preferred) and 1–2 years of installation experience preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.

• Troubleshooting skills throughout installation and commissioning.
• Attention to detail and safety compliance during all work phases.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial refrigeration systems, ensuring proper operation and compliance with safety standards.
• Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot systems during installation.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to prevent malfunctions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and local/national regulations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Install wiring to connect components to power sources.
• Braze or solder defective joints and leaks.
• Be available for out-of-town travel/work on a weekly basis.
• Have or are willing to obtain basic tools for the job.
