Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking an experienced Architect to join the Websites Value Stream, focusing on mission critical Dealer.com Website Platform applications in AWS.

You will collaborate with architects, engineering, product, and agile leaders to establish and scale website capabilities with a unified architectural vision, delivering in the AWS cloud. The role involves evaluating options, defining patterns, and guiding solution design with business and technical alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with extensive experience in enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years implementing structured design and architecture processes.
• 8+ years delivering applications and architecture services in production.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and Serverless patterns.
• 5+ years in API design patterns (RESTful, GraphQL, messaging).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural vision and standards for Dealer.com Website Platform.
• Develop logical and technical architectures for projects and platforms.
• Evaluate performance, security, reliability, and interoperability requirements.
• Communicate architectures to delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and create future roadmap.
• Mentor engineers and facilitate knowledge sharing.
