Job summary

Cox is seeking a senior architect to join the Websites Value Stream architecture team, focusing on mission-critical applications for the Dealer.com Website Platform. You will collaborate with architects, engineering, product, and agile leaders to establish and scale website capabilities with a common architectural vision delivered in the AWS cloud.

You will drive architectural styles, evaluate technologies, and frame solutions in technology and business terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with substantial experience in architecture.
• 5+ years implementing structured design and architecture processes in corporate environments.
• 8+ years full development lifecycle with production architecture services.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services with a focus on Serverless patterns.
• 5+ years experience in API design patterns including RESTful APIs and GraphQL.

Responsibilities

• Develops the logical and technical architecture for projects and platform initiatives.
• Evaluates performance, security, reliability, operations, and interoperability requirements.
• Communicates architectures and technologies to delivery teams and stakeholders.
• Mentors engineers on business knowledge, technology, and career guidance.
