Job summary

Dowbuilt is seeking a Lead Carpenter to work on premier residential projects. You will lead interior and exterior carpentry, coordinate crews and subs, and maintain high-quality work within tight tolerances.

The role emphasizes constructability, safety, and effective communication with field teams and clients. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of high-end residential carpentry, ability to read drawings, manage layouts, and mentor others while upholding Dowbuilt standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of high-end residential carpentry experience.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Ability to line out crew and subcontractors and communicate Dowbuilt quality standards.
• Must complete or already have safety training appropriate for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with framing, finish carpentry, site protection, and material handling.
• Manage material deliveries, storage, and placement.
• Coordinate with superintendent on layout, schedules, and shop drawings.
• Mentor crew and ensure safety and quality on site.
• Lead small projects and coordinate subs to maximize productivity.
