Job summary

Bridgestone Americas in Nashville, TN seeks an Automotive Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team to boost customer care and satisfaction. The pay range is $25.13–$52.04 hourly with a performance-based, flat-rate structure.

Qualifications

• Valid drivers license required.
• Brakes diagnosis/repair skills.
• Alignment/steering/suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications: brake/hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and alignment, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanics.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years; tests paid by company; bonus for tests passed.
