Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, TN is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while mentoring a team toward improved customer care and satisfaction. Pay range is $24.15–$38.24 per hour, with a flat-rate pay model rewarding efficiency and quality.

The role requires diagnostic expertise, ongoing ASE training, and the ability to lead technicians. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered for first-time hires, with comprehensive benefits and career development

Qualifications

• Valid automobile driver's license at all times.
• Skill in brakes and hydraulics and/or steering & suspension.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1 – A8 within first two years of employment.
