Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Senior Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems while leveraging leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

The role offers a $1,750 sign-on bonus for first-time hires and a pay range of $23.00 to $40.01 per hour. Our technicians participate in a performance-based pay model and receive ongoing paid formal training to stay current with evolving automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license and be able to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience with brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension and alignments.
• Able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C to specifications.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within first two years; tests paid by company; bonus for each passed.
