Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Chicago seeks a Senior Lead Architect to shape target-state architecture and drive high‑quality solutions across software applications and platform products within Commercial Investment Banking, Digital and Platform Services.

You will lead technical governance, guide engineering teams, and integrate GenAI capabilities to enhance decision‑making, automation, and customer experience while ensuring security, resiliency, and auditability across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in architecture concepts; 5+ years of proven experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operations.
• Deep expertise in at least one technical discipline (cloud, AI/ML, mobile).
• Experience applying enterprise AI capabilities within architecture workflows with strong validation and data-sensitivity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Represent a product family in technical governance bodies and propose improvements to architecture governance.
• Provide technical guidance to business and technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Leverage AI capabilities within architecture with human-in-the-loop validation and data handling.
• Guide evaluation of technologies using standards and frameworks; influence adoption of leading-edge solutions.
• Drive decisions affecting product design, application functionality, and operations.
