Job summary

Advantest is seeking a Lead Application Engineer in Wisconsin to drive end-to-end test solutions for wafer, package, and system-level testing. You will architect, develop, and debug advanced test programs and guide system configurations using the V93000 platform and related tooling.

You will lead customer engagements, conduct demos, and collaborate with global teams across Europe, Asia, and North America to push test innovations in a high-impact role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred.
• 7+ years of hands-on ATE and test development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, C++, Linux and automation scripting.
• Deep understanding of test architecture and techniques.
• Ability to analyze schematics, evaluate signal integrity and de-embedding.
• Familiarity with test sockets, probe cards, and probe technologies.
• Strong customer engagement and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support customers and sites.

Responsibilities

• Translate customer requirements into optimized test solutions.
• Architect, develop, and debug test programs for complex devices.
• Guide ATE system configuration, load board and probe card design.
• Provide roadmap feedback and contribute to technical direction with R&D.
