Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC in Audubon, PA seeks a Sr. Lead Analyst/Engineer to advance the integration of distributed energy resources into PJM’s wholesale markets.

The role supports market platforms, operational processes, and stakeholder engagement to enable a growing portfolio of distributed resources in Capacity, Energy, and Ancillary Services markets. The ideal candidate combines knowledge of wholesale electricity markets, power system operations, data analytics, and regulatory frameworks

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or other similar major
• At Least 5 years of experience
• Passion for the mission of delivering reliable and cost-effective electricity
• Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
• Knowledge of retail electric customer concepts and wholesale electricity markets

Responsibilities

• Data analysis using MS Excel, SAS and SQL queries of relational database
• Analyze electric customer load and generation meter data
• Provide exceptional customer service to PJM membership
• Address specific customer issues in a clear, concise and professional manner through excellent communication
• Lead cross-functional work with other members of the Market Services Division, System Operations Division, Planning Division, and IT Division in problem-solving and streamlining processes
• Work closely with software development teams to enhance software applications critical to managing DR and DER
