Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer in its Digital & Platform Services/Data Analytics group in the U.S. market. You will lead an agile team to deliver trusted market-leader technology products with a focus on AI/ML, graph retrieval, and scalable, secure designs.

Responsibilities span design-to-production of agents, memory systems, and multi-agent workflows. You will collaborate with product and business partners and contribute to firmwide SDLC and security practices.

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years delivering AI/ML solutions with hands-on system design and operations.
• Strong Python programming with data structures, algorithms, ML, data mining, and statistics.
• Experience building production-grade LLM-powered or agentic applications with tracing and guardrails.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, EKS, micro-VM isolation, and secure architecture across stack.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Design and ship production agents across the federated portfolio from prototype to production.
• Build retrieval with Graph RAG, vector search, chunking, ranking, and grounding for accuracy and auditability.
• Design episodic and semantic memory and organization-wide context management for agent privacy and access control.
• Create multi-agent workflows using A2A and integrate data/tools via MCP servers (Bitbucket, Confluence, Databricks, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Splunk).
• Develop evals, regression suites, and SDLC-compliant deployments; ensure cloud deployment on AWS/Azure with security and observability.
