Job summary

MilliporeSigma, part of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, is seeking a Senior Scientist to join the Analytical R&D Department in St. Louis. You will lead LC-MS assay development for protein quantitation in complex mixtures and characterize large biomolecules such as antibodies and ADCs.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or related field, hands-on LC-MS expertise, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Preference for PhD and broader MS/MS workflow experience.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field.
• Hands-on proficiency with advanced instrumentation, including high resolution and triple quadrupole LC-MS.
• Expertise in sample preparation for large biomolecules LC-MS (digestion, enrichment, depletion, labelling).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of LC-MS assays for quantitation of proteins in complex mixtures.
• Perform advanced characterization of large biomolecules including monoclonal antibodies, multispecifics, and antibody drug conjugates.
