Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group in Texas is seeking a highly experienced Law & Motion Attorney to support a high-volume personal injury litigation practice. This senior role focuses on complex motion practice, dispositive motions, writs, and appellate matters, working closely with trial and litigation teams.

The ideal candidate excels in legal research, persuasive writing, and oral advocacy, and prefers motion/appellate work over day-to-day client management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform advanced legal research and writing.
• Strong persuasive writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Experience in high-volume personal injury motion practice is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and argue interlocutory and appellate briefs in Texas state and federal courts.
• Support trial teams with jury charge issues and preservation of error.
• Handle post-trial motions including Motions for New Trial, JNOVs, and remittiturs.
• Assist with complex motions such as MSJs, Daubert/Robinson motions, and appeals.
• Contribute to trial and appellate strategy across the litigation team.
