Job summary

Bush & Bush Law Group is seeking a highly experienced Law & Motion Attorney to support our high‑volume personal injury litigation practice, focusing exclusively on complex motion practice, dispositive motions, writs, and appellate matters.

This senior role emphasizes legal research, persuasive writing, and oral advocacy, with a preference for motion and appellate work over day‑to‑day client management. The position is hybrid and requires Texas licensing.

Qualifications

• Senior attorney with extensive motion and appellate work in personal injury litigation.
• Strong knowledge of Texas Rules of Civil Procedure, Evidence, and Appellate Procedure.
• Excellent legal research, persuasive writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Licensed to practice in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Draft, research, and argue complex motions in personal injury matters, including summary judgment and appellate issues.
• Support trial teams with jury charge issues, preservation of error, and trial/appeal strategy.
• Handle post-trial motions, including new trials, JNOVs, and remittitur.
• Draft and argue interlocutory and appellate briefs in state and federal courts.
